Andrew Einhorn photographs naked women. He wants to honor the city that shaped him, so he chooses distinctive New York backdrops and models from every background he can find. One morning he guides a pale, red-haired girl to the railing of the Brooklyn Bridge at dawn, the wind lifting her hair while ferries slide past below. Later that week he positions a tall woman with rich dark skin against the chrome wall of a Midtown diner at three in the morning; her reflection multiplies in the steel as steam from the kitchen drifts across the frame. He finds a café in the Village, afternoon light slanting through half-drawn blinds, and places a woman with golden olive skin on a scuffed wooden chair, knees parted, the curve of her thigh catching a stripe of sun. He keeps the locations raw, the bodies unashamed. Every shot feels like the city itself touching skin.
