She sits in the bath, water still from her last shift at the club. Her reflection floats in the surface like a second woman. Steam clings to her skin. She runs the sponge over one breast, slow and deliberate, nipple tightening under the touch. The other hand slides lower, finds the soft heat between her legs, and she parts them just enough. Fingers move without hesitation, circling, pressing, slipping inside until her breath catches. She tilts her head back against the tile. The water ripples, and she keeps going until the tension breaks and the sound she makes echoes off the walls. She stays like that a moment longer, hand resting where the ache lingers, then steps out into the cold air with wet feet on cool marble.
