Three women lived next door. Candice Michelle and Amy Miller had the top floor. Sarah Andrews took the lower one. Every night they came and went together, heels clicking across the courtyard. Candice moved like she knew you watched her. Amy wore skirts cut so high they barely counted as clothing. Sarah wore nothing under her thin white robe when she watered the plants by the window.
