Swing - Episode 7

Al and Sparkle step into the mansion, the heavy door shutting behind them like a promise they can't take back. They've talked about this for months. Tonight they find out if the fantasy holds up. Candlelight flickers across marble floors. Music pulses low from somewhere deeper in the house. Al's hand finds the small of Sparkle's back, his thumb pressing into the silk of her dress. She feels the heat through the fabric. They move past couples already touching, already kissing, already past the point of polite conversation. A woman in red leads a man by his tie toward the stairs. Sparkle watches them disappear around the landing. Her breath catches. Al leans close, his lips brushing her ear. "You still want this?" She nods once, sharp. Her nipples press against the thin material of her dress. They both know there's no going back now.
