Kevin and Andrea sit Kevin down with Ally. Her legs cross slow, nylons whispering against one another. She leans back, skirt riding higher on her thigh, and tells them about the new radio show. The idea is simple: she gets people to call in and describe the dirtiest thing they did that week, on air, no names, no faces, just voices and breath. Andrea’s lips part when Ally says the word “breath.” Kevin shifts in his chair, trousers suddenly tight. Ally keeps talking. She likes the way two strangers can get each other off with nothing but sound. She likes the power of a pause that lasts just long enough for the listener to imagine what’s happening on the other end. Andrea uncrosses her legs, recrosses them the other way. Kevin watches the hem of her dress slide another inch. Ally smiles at both of them, says she might even let the callers hear what three people can do when they’re listening to the same thing at the same time.
