Kate Quigley sits with her guest, legs crossed just so, skirt riding a touch higher than decent. She leans forward. Asks about the fantasies that keep him up. He answers slow, but his voice thickens when he gets to the part about being watched. She smiles without breaking eye contact. The conversation slides deeper. He admits the particular way he likes to be told what to do. She keeps him talking, every question placed exactly where it pulls more out. By the time they touch the real edges, the room feels smaller and his breathing heavier, and she never once looks away.
